Tagit Secure is engineered is to reduce theft on the shop floor. This is primarily to achieve the following:
- to reduce theft to a bare minimum
- enclose RFID tag inside existing labels
- reusable tags with ease of removing and reapplying within labels
- durable tags to sustain daily use/abuse
- high quality presentation to disguise the tag from the customer
- indestructible tags, to limit possibility of beating the system
- sold items will not sound alarm
These will be achieved by:
- Wireless and intelligent tracking of items passing through the store entrance
- Tags will be perfectly incased within existing barcode labels
- Intelligent system will not sound the alarm if a paid item crosses the entrance to avoid discomforting a customer
Process flow for TAGIT SECURE
- Any tag can be incased within existing barcode labels
- Items sold will be checked out using the RF pad, the tag is torn and kept and the item handed over to the client.
- If by mistake the tag remains on the item, once sold the item will not sound the security alarm.
- Torn tags will be sent back to warehouse
- Returned tags can be easily removed and replaced into new labels.
